I’ve submitted an enhancement request to the Tumblr platform already.  They like the request and I’m hoping more people request the same option to help push this along.

I’d like to have a “Code” option while editing posts.  Basically, a widget to easily add samples of code that does not get screwed up by HTML markup and CSS from our current post options.

Some of you have seen the Word Press plugins.  Or similarly the display of code in GitHub.  I basically requested a plugin, post-type, or editor option to also inject code into our Tumblr blogs.

So please, jump on board and submit a request for the same thing and try to get this enhancement added.  Thanks.
